Distillery Tour (30 minutes)
A tour of Redlands Whisky Distillery offers a complete 'paddock to bottle' experience. Starting off in a field of barley (seasonal) and ending with our barrels in the bond room, the tour offers a unique insight into the crafting of our single malt whisky.
Our distiller will try to get you involved as much as possible in the making of a single malt whisky. Experience the reek of the barley malting on our floor as you turn it over; taste our barley as we kiln dry it; sample the malted barley liquid straight from our mash tun; try our mountain fed water, and most importantly, finish with a dram of Redlands' finest.
30 minute distillery tour costs $15 per person.

Distiller in Depth (4 hours)
Spend four hands-on hours with our distiller and learn some of the subtleties of distilling. Grain and water selection, when to cut the spirit, how much peat to infuse, oak barrel differences and much more.
The Distiller in Depth includes tastings and a three course dinner in the distillery, including wine. Minimum group size is 4 and cost per person is $195.
Optional extra: Make your own 20 litre barrel and fill with Redlands Single Malt whisky (please contact us for cost details).

Royal Distiller
Our premium offering for single malt enthusiasts is an indulgence King George IV would have been proud of.
Your three day visit starts with your flight to Tasmania. We will pick you up from the airport and check you in to your 5 star accommodation at a selected Tasmanian hotel then either drive or helicopter you to Redlands.
After being shown around Redlands, you will be flown to the source of the Plenty River (used to make Redlands Single Malt) for lunch. You will return to Redlands to start distilling your own Redlands Single Malt. Over the three days you will hand craft your barrels, malt your barley, distil the whisky and fill 6 of your own 20 litre barrels with Redlands Single Malt whisky.
In between we will fly you to Tasmania's Central Highlands to dig peat; provide guided trout fishing in Redland's ponds and along our river frontage, and fly you to the local wineries and brewery to sample other Derwent valley products.
You will have a personal chef who will cook all your meals according to your requirements. We will also provide a translator if required.
The 20 litre barrels will be aged for you in our bond room before bottling in your customised bottle and shipping to your home address.
